About Us
SkW, formed in April 2014, is part of the Integra Construction Consultancy Group, amalgamating Skelton Safety Services. The business is run & managed by David Ward & Barry Skelton who have worked together, in consultancy, since 1996.
Barry Skelton is a Health and Safety Consultant, with over 20 years experience, specialising in the construction industry. With a practical approach that concentrates on good communication, Barry has assisted a number of CDM Clients and Designers in fulfilling their duties under the CDM Regulations and has also advised a number of Principal Contractors with policies, procedures and audits.
David Ward, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, has over 40 years experience in the construction industry. 22 years were spent working in construction management on a wide variety of projects and procurement methods. David gained considerable experience managing design teams working on design and build projects. In 1995 David joined a construction consultancy and developed a successful and respected consultancy providing the role of Planning Supervisor and CDMC in addition to bespoke Health and Safety consultancy for the construction industry across all sectors.
